What is an expert in residence?

Experts in Residence (EIRs) are trusted collaborators within the Keystone Founder Studio ecosystem.

  • Work alongside founders across different stages
  • Providing focused expertise where it matters most.

EIRs are not passive advisors. They are actively engaged, contributing insight, execution support, and pattern recognition drawn from real operating experience.

How You’ll Contribute

As an Expert in Residence, you may support founders by:

  • Providing domain expertise during early validation and decision-making.
  • Advising on product, go-to-market, growth, or operational strategy.
  • Supporting founders through key transitions such as MVP launch, PMF, or fundraising readiness.
  • Engaging in short-term projects, fractional roles, or ongoing advisory relationships.

Engagements are structured to match both founder needs and your availability.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for experienced professionals with backgrounds such as:

  • Product, engineering, design, growth, sales, or operations
  • Finance, fundraising, legal, or IP strategy
  • Deep industry experience in sectors like SaaS, AI, fintech, healthtech, or emerging technologies

You may be a former founder, senior operator, advisor, or independent consultant, what matters most is your ability to apply experience in practical, founder-facing ways.
